Ep 1147: Caster Semenya, The IAAF And The Ongoing Debate On Inter-Sex Athletes, Bayern Bore, LeBron's Latest Heroics - 26/04/2018
South African middle-distance runner Caster Semenya has had an extraordinary career in athletics, culminating with her Olympics win in Rio.  But rules brought in this week by the IAAF have put her front and centre once again in another debate about the place hyper-androgenic athletes have in sport.

We're joined on today's show by David Epstein, author of The Sports Gene, to talk about the IAAF's new set of eligibility rules, and what it means for the concept of fairness, while simultaneously trying to ensure no-one is denied the chance to compete at the top of world sport.

We also talk about Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, and why even the best TV shows have a dud episode or two in every season.  Plus we mention LeBron's latest heroics, the doctor to the stars, and a manager to the stars that it turns out actually has some serious game.
