I'm surprised with how much I've been playing Hyrule Warriors. I barely did anything past the 'Legends Mode' on Wii U, but I think that the extra content has pushed me. It may also be that playing Hyrule Warriors with an actual controller is more comfortable than with the Wii U gamepad. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Wii U, but the gamepad wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world.
There are also many other QOL improvements over the Wii U version too, such as commanding units to move. I didn't comment too much on the newer features, due to a combination of not playing HW for over a year, and the fact that I tried to keep this review as contained as I could.
I really wish Nintendo would sort the Switch screenshots out. I can understand the low-quality videos, but do screenshots really need to be THIS compressed? It's frustrating...
Tropical Freeze next week, probably on the 3rd of June. The review is essentially complete, but I'd like to try and keep to a weekly schedule, given that no new games are out. This way I can also try to generate a backlog of articles just in case I'm busy one week. It'll also give me a little bit of time to try Funky mode out, and maybe even beat the K-Levels. Rest assured, it'll be very polished by the end.
After that, for June 10th, I'm not too sure what I'll do. I've been playing a few more Switch games, I guess, but I don't feel like I've played them enough to give a full review. Maybe a quick and dirty post about what I want at E3? I'll have to give it some thought.
The week after, I'll probably do an article about my opinions on this year's E3. I'll comment on games that I am interested in, though, so maybe that'd be best kept to my personal blog? Conveniently, this would be published for June 17th, so I'd have a few days to really think about the conferences.
In the future, I'm very excited to review The World Ends With You: Final Remix. I've reviewed TWEWY in the past, but that review is aged, and my writing was pretty bad back then. A nice revamp to that review is exciting in itself, and the prospect of additional story content has me on the edge of my seat!
On the topic of upcoming games; Kingdom Hearts 3. I don't have a PS4, or an Xbox One, so I may be in trouble here. My biggest hope for E3 is that Square Enix announce a KH3 port, but it's very unlikely... I may end up having to purchase a PS4 at some point this year! X_X
Thanks for reading the article, and this. Sorry if I waffled on a little, haha.
