Hey there, Pun Pals and Future Pun Pals!
This coming August 6 marks the 50th entry for the Saturday Matinee level of Patreon, which is the home for Grand Punwick Mystery Theater.
To celebrate this milestone, I’m going to offer a commission to a randomly chosen Patron who meets either of the following conditions:
1. You are a Patron at the “Saturday Matinee” level before August 6th (and remain as such through at least the end of August), or
2. You are a Patron at a higher support level than “Saturday Matinee” but you have posted a comment on any of the previous 49 “Saturday Matinee” installments prior to August 6th. (These must be legitimate comments related in some way to the series or story in question, and not simply, “Hey!”)
That’s it! Just those two conditions!
Now, if you’re a Patron at a lower level, or one of the discontinued “legacied” levels, all you would have to do is adjust your support level from your current level to the “Saturday Matinee” level. Not sure what level you’re on? You can check your membership on your profile page, or just message me!
If you’re not a Patron, and you like getting regular artwork and stories in your email, and you enjoy supporting small businesses and creators, then this is the perfect time to sign up for my Patreon!
The artwork will be a 9x12 black & white / greyscale Patron’s choice of either Dash & Dottie, The Countess, or of the newest character/story in the GPMT, the Empress of the Skies! Artwork will be delivered with the September Perks Pack mail out.
EMPRESS is a new series with roots in Ms Marvel (unintentionally), the Rocket Man serials of the 1940s (totally intentional), and Commander Cody from the 1950s. Set in modern day Grand Punwick, The Empress will feature the country’s second superhero. The series will also have flashbacks to the second World War, where the Empress first debuted. Pay attention to the next couple of Art Digest and Behind the Scenes posts as I finish designing the primary elements of the character and basic designs and concepts.
