With rays cast forth from golden core,
And though moonlight, like silvery ore,
May be seen as night comes a'fore,
Also through dawn and dusk's glamour,
And through peace and inevitable war,
Epic battles taken from ancient lore,
Mythic novels of goddesses yore,
We will wonder; what is sure?
What has the new day for us in store?
Will happy tidings reach our shore?
Or sail past evil with quick oar?
But one thing we cannot ignore,
One thing we truly mustn't abhor,
Our bonds will exist forevermore,
And thus you reached this poem's encore.
