Below you will find waiver wire targets specifically for Wednesday, September 19. If anything is unclear - such as how you would use these players - ask in the comments or by private message.

Pitchers to Use

Touki Toussaint vs Cardinals

Chris Stratton at Robbie Erlin

Felix Pena at Athletics

Honestly, I don't plan to mess with Toussaint. He seems like the classic slow adjustment prospect. He might take a few years to figure out the majors. In the meantime, he'll probably get pushed into the bullpen. Time will tell. For now, he has potential for favorable strikeout and ground ball rates.

Stratton has pitched very well lately. He was a trendy sleeper entering the season before bombing out within a couple months. Erlin is a classic pitch-to-content southpaw. The Giants have such a feeble offense.

Pena is perhaps the most talented from a present value standpoint. The Athletics aren't a good matchup, but at least the game is at a pitcher friendly venue.

I would target in this order: Stratton, Pena, Erlin, Toussaint.

Hitters to Use

Christin Stewart, James McCann vs Stephen Gonsalves

Max Kepler, Joe Mauer at Spencer Turnbull

Willy Adames at Yohander Mendez

Dominic Smith at Zach Eflin

Cedric Mullins vs Sam Gaviglio

Kendrys Morales, Ronald Guzman, Randal Grichuk, Billy McKinney at TBD

Once again, any Blue Jays you can find are worth finding. I've highlighted my four favorite. Guzman is playing every day with Morales and Justin Smoak juggling the other 1B/DH slot. Grichuk has played like a top 25 hitter since sometime in June and should be owned in all leagues. We don't know for sure who they'll face. It doesn't matter.

Smith is visiting Citizen's Bank Park. The Rays have a highly left-handed lineup. I noted the one regular with the platoon advantage versus Mendez, but you can honestly use anybody from that roster.
