Waiver Wars: Final Thinday
Here are some waiver wire targets for Thursday, September 27.

Pitchers to Use

CC Sabathia at Tyler Glasnow

Marco Gonzales vs Rangers

Yea, that's it. Gonzales just held the Rangers to one hit and a walk over six innings. They get a rematch. He's a good target for a victory. Rate stats and strikeouts might be underwhelming.

Sabathia is visiting Glasnow. The Rays starter continues to pile up strikeouts since the trade. In fact, he's easily outpitched Chris Archer. Bad trade? Probably. Sabathia is a pure volume source. You're hoping he gets enough run support for the victory.

Hitters to Use

Roman Quinn, Odubel Herrera, Cesar Hernandez at Antonio Senzatela

David Dahl vs Jake Arrieta

Tony Kemp, Josh Reddick at Yefry Ramirez

Johan Camargo, Kurt Suzuki at Jason Vargas

Ryan O'Hearn vs Josh Tomlin

Yonder Alonso at Jorge Lopez

Niko Goodrum at Twins (TBD)

Denard Span vs Ariel Jurado

Fortunately, we have a range of options on the hitting side. This being the final Thin Thursday, there's a chance you'll need to scoop up a variety of position player plugs.

At catcher, Suzuki and Francisco Cervelli are my preferred options. Corner infield includes O'Hearn, Alonso, Camargo, and Goodrum - all with good matchups. Middle infield features Goodrum (again) and Hernandez at Coors Field. Outfielders are plentiful including a trio at Coors plus a couple other goodies.
