Waiver Wars: Remember This Title
Here are some waiver wire targets for Friday, September 28.

Pitchers to Use

Reynaldo Lopez at Twins

Lucas Giolito at Twins

Nick Kingham at Anthony DeSclafani

Jose Urena at Mets

Tyler Glasnow vs Blue Jays

Mike Fiers at Jaime Barria

Wade LeBlanc vs Rangers

So... no shortage of options tomorrow including a couple White Sox visiting Minnesota. For strikeouts, your top choice is Glasnow. Your best play for a victory is LeBlanc followed by Urena and Fiers. If you need an absolute gem, Fiers is probably most likely to supply it. As a homer prone pitcher, he's also a risky play.

Hitters to Use

Daniel Palka, Yolmer Sanchez at Jose Berrios, Chase De Jong

Joe Mauer, Jorge Polanco, Logan Forsythe, Willians Astudillo, Tyler Austin vs Reynaldo Lopez, Lucas Giolito

Adam Frazier, Corey Dickerson at Anthony DeSclafani

Tony Kemp, Josh Reddick at Yefry Ramirez

Niko Goodrum at Zach Davies

David Dahl vs Joe Ross

Ryon Healy vs Martin Perez

Daniel Descalso, Steven Souza at Eric Lauer

Enrique Hernandez at Madison Bumgarner

I've highlighted some White Sox and Twins since they benefit from playing a doubleheader. If you're just short of your games played caps, this is a good chance to make up some ground. However, none of these are especially high value targets. Volume often trumps quality when streaming hitters.

Hernandez has gaudy numbers versus Bumgarner - .444/.459/.917 in 37 plate appearances. Probably a fluke. Maybe not. Dahl, Goodrum, and Frazier are my top three targets. Dahl for power, Frazier for runs and average, and Goodrum for a little bit of everything.
