Waiver Wars: Penultimate Battle
Here are some waiver wire targets for Saturday, September 29.

Pitchers to Use

Anibal Sanchez at Phillies

Wade Miley vs Tigers

Carlos Rodon at Kyle Gibson

Trevor Richards at Steven Matz

Sanchez, Rodon, and Gibson may not be available in your leagues, but I've seen them kicked to the curb often enough (sometimes by me) to suspect they are. You gotta do what you gotta do in the last week. All three project to offer above average production in multiple categories. That's a rare treat on the waiver wire. Miley has been mysteriously effective this season despite no obvious change in his skill set. Richards and Matz have some potential since they're facing soft opponents at pitcher friendly CitiField.

Hitters to Use

Francisco Cervelli at Michael Lorenzen

Tony Kemp, Josh Reddick  at Dylan Bundy, Yefry Ramirez

Roman Quinn vs Anibal Sanchez

Niko Goodrum at Wade Miley

Ketel Marte at Jacob Nix

Denard Span vs Adrian Sampson

The Astros have a juicy doubleheader, but they kind of lack streamable talent. Kemp and Reddick are the exceptions, although I'd only bet on one start for each of them. Quinn remains a premium target for steals opposite an exploitable Braves battery. Goodrum blends power, speed, and too many whiffs. Marte has a higher contact, lower power version of the Goodrum category set. Span is one of my favorite streamers this season, and Cervelli is an able catcher.
