My dad was a great example of how someone can live a positive life. Anyone who ever met my father, or had him coach them in sports, would tell you he was fun and supportive, patient, caring, and positive.
Because of his attitude toward life, I know that positive daily living is a vital key to a happy life.
What does it mean to live more positively? First of all, you need to set good examples for others to follow. Imagine how adding these more positive ideas into your life may feel. What do you think other people will say about you? What do their expressions on their faces reveal about you?
Try to live life without being selfish. My father was great at this. He put his wife and children before his own desires. I know there were times when my mother would ask him to take her shopping and he was too tired from working. He would never deny her or complain.
When we went to the mall he would sit on a bench as my mom went around the mall on her scooter shopping. No complaints ever. He simply made the best of it and then they would normally go out to eat afterwards.
My dad was amazing and we miss him dearly. I will always remember his great examples by how he lived and how he treated others. How do you live your life? Would people say you are Positive or Negative? If not, positive it isn’t too late to change. There is no better time than right now.
Here is a positive quote I like; “Remind yourself daily that there is no way to happiness; rather, happiness is the way.” ― Wayne W. Dyer, Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao
