24 hour comic: Legos
- 24 hour comic day is always a weird experience for me. It’s kind of like producing a whole month of strips in a single day, but way easier because I don’t have to color them and they don’t have to fit in to the current story. I can just write whatever I want. The Lego Medusa from the final panel is made from a few different Lego sets. I had to spend a lot of time on different Lego sites to get all the parts. I’d love it if some real Lego Modest Medusa sets existed. Maybe the house, complete with a window for Medusa to push Jake out of and a toilet for her to sleep in? Or the Pirate ship, with Marah and a giant dragon bone catapult, and a wall to crash into? – I’ll be at Geek Girl Con in Seattle this weekend. Come by and say hi! – Ben and Elaine are running the Kickstarter for the final volume of their LONG running Pirate/Ninja/Cat Girl/Everything webcomic Dubious Company. This is the end, and they could use your support. They’re about 2/3 of the way to their goal with 11 days to go. This is a great chance to check out the series, get some cool stuff and help out two dedicated, enthusiastic and talented creators as they wrap up a major project and move on to the next cool thing!
