Are you ready for a long podcast? As someone with an hour long commute each day (in each direction), I love long podcasts. And while I certainly didn't set out for this one to be this long, I'm glad it ended that way.
This quarter's Q&A podcast had a theme of writing and books, which meant I had to bring in a writer cohost. So I brought in the talented Evey Jacob, who is one of my favorite writers out there. Her book, The Shadows, is available on Amazon under the pen name Jacob Crawford. It's a damn fine book and the start of a great series. I admittedly have a bias about this as I'll be editing book number two in the series, but I'm also right about how good the book is.
In this podcast, we talk about getting over the fear of writing the first sentence, what candy various Harry Potter characters would be, and many other topics. Yes, the episode goes nearly two hours, but I assure you it's worth it.
Patrons are receiving this podcast early, as it's publishing for you all just after 10pm on April 30th. Non-patrons will have access on Friday, May 3rd. As we get closer to Q3, I'll have another Q&A question submission thread for patrons. Remember -- patron questions get priority in being answered. Thank you all for supporting me. Hopefully you enjoy this episode.
