People often approach the issue of what we want by presenting some theory or ideology, or by looking at what now is and asking for a bit better. RevolutionZ starts with ethical values and then moves from them to conceiving and advocating social relations and institutions that can fulfill those ethical values.

Episode 2 of RevolutionZ explains and initiates that approach. The values it emphasizes are equity, self management, solidarity, diversity, and ecological sustainability. Each is defined and supported. Each is assessed against criticisms often raised. And finally current society is judged, shown to violate them all, and thus motivation for seeking new society is established.
