The Mental Capacity Act Podcast - bonus episode - Interview with Mark Neary

The original intention was that this interview would be a bonus episode available only to Gold Tier patrons. But we had a re-think, and decided to offer it as a free bonus, to enable as many people as possible to hear it, and to give everyone a flavour of what's on offer.

The regular episodes of the podcast will be free to everyone, but future interviews will be available to Gold Tier patrons only.

Mark is a counsellor, writer, campaigner and a founder of the Rightful Lives online exhibition. But most importantly he's the father to Steven. And this is their story.

The interview is 95 minutes long, and I thought about editing it down, but to be honest it's all fascinating, and I didn't want to leave anything out! So feel free to listen to it in chunks if you prefer.

And when you've listened to it, please head over to the MCA Podcast Facebook discussion group to let us know what you think. I'm keen to hear from you, and I'm sure Mark and Steven would like to know your thoughts too. https://www.facebook.com/groups/822370418161613/ . Please also tell your friends and colleagues about the episode, inside and outside of Facebook. You could even tell them the old-fashioned way - ie by speaking to them face-to-face!
