The man impressed me with his youthful appearance, calm demeanor, and knowing eyes. He didn’t strike me as an ascended master or anything as incredible as that, but he carried a strong, dignified presence that I envied. Did I ever look that calm, assured, and knowing? I wasn’t sure if I did, but I hoped that my own “guru persona” gave off similar vibes on the occasions when I was leading a workshop.
