On March 13, I'm playing at the White Horse Black Mountain, my home town music room. My friend Brian Hilligoss will be opening the show that night, and I'm excited to share him with my friends. He's a longtime Nashville musician who traded his 'N' for an 'e' and moved to Asheville last year (after many years in other places). I think y'all will really enjoy him. He'll start at 8:00, and I'll go on about 8:30PM. My other guest musician for the night will be Mason LaMotte, my favorite 11-year-old Celtic fiddler.
Every month, I'm making sure I send y'all the three things I promised (a new song, a chapter of the audio book, and an informal video hangout), and also at least one extra thing, that's not on that list. One of those for this month will be coming in the next 48 hours, so stay tuned. :-)
Next month, the big extra will be a video broadcast of my March 13 show. I'm going to be playing some of these newer songs that aren't on CDs, and enjoying the warmth of that lovely venue, which is one of the focal points of this sweet community for me. This live video will be free for y'all who are Patrons, and I hope you can make it. You'll be able to chat with each other while you're watching (I'm told that that works much better on a computer than on a phone), and though I'll be busy with a couple of other things, I'll read back through the comments later. My hope is that I'll also have someone online to talk with y'all from the venue during the show.
So click on through to Crowdcast to reserve your virtual seat. I'm excited to be able to share that evening with y'all.
By the way — there are 77 of us here now, so we're 77% of the way to having quarterly online concerts. I'm looking forward to that! :-)
