#65: Highly Recurring Phonic Elements Chart Recitation

Summary
Augusta responds to teachers' request for a separate video of her as she models how to guide students in learning the recitation of the phonic elements on her Highly Recurring Phonic Elements chart.  She reminds subscribers that she has posted video  #7 of a workshop with teachers where she and the teachers discuss the background of the chart and demonstrate the recitation.  She talks about the process of covering up most of the chart when first introducing it to students and how we must make sure students understand the pictures and the meaning of the sound symbols before we begin the recitation.  She reiterates her practice of never beginning a recitation and memorization with students until after they understand the meaning of what is to be recited and memorized.

See attachment for a replica of the chart to download if you would like to use that.
