Gabrielle Michelle - the warrior-sorceress
Gabrielle Michelle comes from a remote community of Elfland, yet it is Elfland rather than a remote village. She has an adventurous friend, heroic parents, but no mentor. With the added skills of Dungeoneer and Pathfinder, a group might get by without a dwarf adventurer, and with Arcanist, Lore Master, and Scholar, a group might get by without a magician. So, this is potent as a team member.
However, this build presents a wider spread with more burden to roll challenging tests. It lacks a quirky skill like Aelar's Criminal or Indus' Scavenger, or a potent trait such as Nimbal's Defender. She will have to meet and gain a mentor to learn spells or work to discover spells during delves.
And, just as a frustrating note, she has to carry the cloak in her backpack unless she removes the leather armor or backpack to wear the cloak; then the leather armor or backpack are unavailable. I feel this is a misstep of the game design; it does not feel like a helpful decision to be placed against.
I used the Torchbearer 1st edition to fit my concept for this build. At a later time, I'll review this build with the Torchbearer 2nd edition rules.

Belief: Law and Chaos are equal sources of Good and Evil; we are only reflections of light or dark.
Instinct: When at rest or in camp, I must attune my mind and body to my soul, and that which lies beyond mortal senses.
Admittedly, I am currently playing this elf ranger, and it feels good in play. She can skirmish well, and the magic is low-key. She gives the impression of an optimized adventurer.
