Summary
Augusta focuses our attention on 10 of her Intensified Accelerated culture-centered teaching strategies that are "Must-Dos" for underperforming students. If these strategies are used with fidelity, students' literacy skills  will significantly improve. 

She calls our attention to the fact that, because of the pandemic and school closures, we all have a little more time to plan and to prepare teaching materials. She streses the opportunity to prepare important materials such as flash card sets for all the 1,000 Fry's words. She demonstrates how to make 3 cards for every word and how to note the Highly Recurring Phonic Elements on some of the cards.
