This simple, gridless battle map is great for those roadside encounters that take place out in the middle of caravan runs or just walking along a rural road.

I made this one for early spring or late fall, so the grass is partially brown and the wagon tracks are muddy.

I've used this in one campaign already, where this week a roadside ambush took place (while inspiring the creation of the bracelet of the peaceful grasslands). 

Designed for use with Roll20.net, it should work for any virtual tabletop platform.
