No-handed practice: helpful for learning to wheelie?

I have this theory that practicing riding no-handed will eventually help me maintain a wheelie because it seems to be a way to learn the side-balance correction maneuvers (using knees, hips, torso, etc) that are taught by Ryan Leech in his Ryan Leech Connection wheelie course (normally $30 but currently free).

It's too soon to tell whether or not it's a crackpot theory because my wheelie skills are progressing at a snail's pace.

In the meantime, however, I'm having more fun than I expected riding no-handed. My skills have rapidly improved (slower speeds, tighter corners) so I start and end every wheelie practice session with a couple of minutes of fun no-handed riding.
