How to Apply the Depth of Field FX in Max/Jitter

Hi all dear Patrons,

I was doing something that involved the Depth of Field effect, and I thought that maybe there's still a bit of confusion on how this effect can be applied.

The secret? Use the jit.gl.material.
The shader inside jit.gl.material will generate some distance values for the fragments of the object to which it is attached.
Those distance values are then used by the jit.gl.pass dof shaders to apply the effect.
