4 million dead in Iraq and Afghanistan

I think I forgot to post this here. ICYM, analysis of new and old research on just how many people have been killed by US-led wars in the last 20 years. Focuses on just Iraq and Afghanistan. The article provoked an angry Twitter response from Iraq Body Count and its supporters, which has prompted me to undertake a deeper investigation into the whole question of who counts the dead. Findings are so far are quite surprising. Also have another investigation on the go, following up previous story on 'white supremacists' in Whitehall. Apologies to those who emailed me last week (or was it two weeks ago?) and haven't back. I did read your emails, and all suggestions have been noted! - but haven't had a chance to respond. More soon....
