We Love Buttons

In Halfquake Sunrise, I had planned to add a little scene,  which was supposed to be like a musical piece, praising buttons. One single voice would sing (voice1) and a group of voices would sing back (voices2). It was called "We Love Buttons":

(one button visible, background is a simple wall texture)

voice1: I see you've placed a button there.

voices2: Yes mylord, but it's still a bore.

v1: You could try and add some more!

v2: Oh, why didn't you say so before!

(two buttons visible)

vi: Two buttons are quite a nice touch!

v2: Thank you!

vi: But I think it's still not that much.

v2: Oh no!

(four buttons visible)

v2: How about four?

v1: We still need more!

(eight buttons visible)

v2: How about eight?

v1: Fills me with hate!

(sixteen buttons visible)

v2: How about sixteen?

v1: Are you even trying?

(three buttons visible)

v2: How about three?

v1: Stop making fun of me!

(fifty buttons visibile)

v2: How about fifty?

v1: Not so nifty.

(seventy-five buttons visible)

v2: How about seventy?

v1: I feel heavenly.

v2: Is that bad?

v1: YES!

(onehundred buttons visible)

v2: How about one hundred?

v1: Just getting started.

(one thousand buttons visible)

v2: How about one thousand?

v1: Not what I had in mind.

(100,000 buttons visible)

v2: One-hundred thousand?

v1: I'll send you to Wonderland.

(1,000,000 buttons visible)

v2: How about one millioooooon?

...

v1: Are you crazy?

(short break)

v2: One-hundred thousand then?

v1: Sounds like a good idea.

v2: Where shall we place them?

v1: Here, here, here and here.

(buttons appear everywhere)

v2: We love buttons!

v1: Absolutely!

v2: We love buttons!

v1: Evil, shiny, square!

v2+v1: We love buttooooooooooooooooooooooooooooons!

(buttons form an evil smile, camera moves back, short break)

v1: Now get back to work.
