Video Recording of Brooklyn Esoteric Rarities: A Conversation, Virtual Tour and Show and Tell with Collector and Gallerist Stephen Romano

We are beyond delighted to--at long last!--share a video recording of a recent tour of the astounding collection of Stephen Romano, a dear friend and many-time Morbid Anatomy collaborator. 

In this recording, Romano--infamous curator of visionary and vernacular rarities--presents artifacts and books from his extensive and awe inspiring private collection, which including all sorts of visionary and vernacular rarities, from masonic memorabilia, Mayan shamanistic altars and spirit photography, to magical objects and grimoires, Diableries, the "Venus of Detroit", the works of William Mortensen, unseen works by Wolfang Grasse and much more with the help of interviewer Laetitia Barbier!

Stephen Romano is a Brooklyn based collector, curator, and gallerist. He has collaborated with cultural institutions including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Reina Sophia in Madrid, Gagosian Gallery in New York, the Dark Mofo Festival in Tasmania, Morbid Anatomy at Greenwood Cemetery, the Buckland Museum of Witchcraft and Magick in Cleveland, among others. Romano supports our beloved artist community by producing pop up exhibitions, the most recent of which was a Twin Peaks tribute show "No Stars" in collaboration with Josh Stebbins and Rebekah Del Rio.
