So Say We All, a San Diego-based non-profit literary and performing arts non-profit that produces the NPR radio program "Incoming" is launching a FREE on-line 2020 Veteran Writers Division Masterclass Series for its fall season.
Starting Nov. 1, 2020, the 8-week class will meet Sundays from 7 to 9 p.m. Eastern Time; 4 to 6 p.m. Pacific Time. Specific dates are:
- Nov. 1, 2020
- Nov. 8
- Nov. 15
- Nov. 22
- Nov. 29
- Dec. 6
- Dec. 13
- Dec. 20
The masterclass is open to military service members, veterans, family members, as well as journalists, foreign-national contractors such as language interpreters, and employees of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO).
During this series, you'll work in cohorts to craft your original true stories, while receiving masterclass lessons from exceptional writers on topics covering short non-fiction, short fiction, and flash writing. Then you'll receive one-on-one coaching to bring the story you want to tell to a public stage (digital, thanks to the Corona Virus).
So Say We All was established in 2009. The fall masterclass program is underwritten by the National Endowment for the Arts' Creative Forces initiative.
