#135: Synonym Triplets Review Directed to Students (DTS)

Miss Augusta's Collection index at the Patreon Subscriber's Site Map webpage.

This video is in response to a group of 5th grade teachers who gave Augusta three words that related to one of the texts that students would be studying in the coming week. The teachers had been introduced to the strategy: “Synonym Triplets” and had used it previously.

I suggested that we work together to see what I would do with this strategy (finer points of strategy implementation) and these words when teaching students at home during this pandemic.  Next steps:

One of the teachers will prepare “Synonym Triplets” for an upcoming lesson which I will watch. We’ll then engage in a coaching session led by her and her priorities for discussion.
