In this, the fifth short video on writing a 5-paragraph essay, Augusta reviews the 4 previous videos on this topic and then explains the next step in the process. She reminds students and teachers of the previous videos by showing the charts with the writing that has been demonstrated so far. The next goal is to write more details in each of the three body paragraphs. To do this, Augusta explains, students need more words. Words, words, words!

She demonstrates with a Thinking Map Circle Map (brainstorming --that she has generated with words related to dinosaurs. She encourages students to “work hard” and to use books and the internet to research words related to the animal they have chosen. The next video in the series will show how more detailed sentences can be added to provide a higher level of writing that is more interesting for the reader.
