Hello patrons!

Today I've published an article on polyamory, parenting, and social justice.

"Poly Family, Poly World...and Poly Among the Poor" (a) responds to a feminist's article arguing low income women need marriage, by pointing out there are other options we should be promoting (not just polyamory, though that too), and (b) addresses the monogamy privilege inherent in the author's thinking that often comes with assuming monogamy is better than polyamory. The latter I accomplish by citing and summarizing a scientific paper discovering that what people think monogamy is good for, actually isn't true, or not in evidence. The merits of polyamory for the poor are discussed throughout.

One thing that comes up is how similar Christian apologetics and monogamy apologetics are; and how many people's reactions to the prospect of polyamory are similar to Christian reactions to the prospect of atheism.
