Hi this is Will Kimbrough. This is a special Kimbrough Super Service Podcast just to let everyone know about my Patreon project and this podcast. It has been just about a year since i launched my Patreon - If you don’t know what Patreon is, I’ll simply say it’s a way for a creative artist like me to interact with someone like you, on a regular basis. It provides you with monthly new music, a monthly podcast, kind of like this podcast, only longer and often an interview with some of my favorite creative people. i also live stream via Patreon. I create monthly videos that take apart songs word by word, note by note. I create videos that show how I do what I do as a writer, producer, studio musician, band member and singer-songwriter. I have a select few one on one students who I’m helping master their instruments and/or write better songs. It’s fun and it isn’t expensive; monthly new music is $5 a month, add in the podcast for $10 per month. From there add live streams at $20 a month. The videos come at the $50 monthly level and one on one lessons are $100 per month. It’s tiered, so the higher the level the more you get. Anyway, for me it’s been a way to stay on my creative edge - I need to write, record and mix songs every month. I need to create those videos and podcasts, prepare those lessons. And if you’re thinking I’m doing all this to get through these pandemic days…well I love it so much I intend to keep Patreon a part of my life forever.
