Bristol, UK - 2020. Last summer I visited the area near Bristol and enjoyed a weekend by the Severn. I took this picture during one of my walks enjoying the beautiful sunshine and the sites. This person sitting on his own watching the world go by lent itself to a portrait of a person contemplating the world.
To continue the theme of yesterday, coming back to base, coming back to your centre, sometimes we just have to take time to watch nature, enjoy the sights, and watch the world go by.
My challenge for today is, go outside wherever it is you are and watch nature, let the beauty of the world just was over you, open your heart to the possibilities that the open air offers. It does not matter if it is sunny, or if it is rainy, take a step outside.
In our "effort" to regulate, we often take the choice of isolation in our own world and often this means in a room away from everyone, for fear of being spoken to and asked if we are ok, when in fact inside the world is crumbling. My challenge is to you, who tend to isolate to a room in order to regulate the emotions, go outside instead, even if it means just on the front porch, or in a garden, local park, it does not matter, just go out. I know many countries in 2021 are still making people stay indoors (cause lergy) but as humans e have always lived in the outdoors and it was only for shelter that we went inside. It is time to reconnect with nature somehow, and that may mean opening the window and sticking your head out and experience the outdoors, or however you can achieve it, just get out of the box for a short while.
I pose no questions today, I pose only an opportunity to enjoy nature, the sun, the air, the water, the earth. Reconnect with all the elements that makes us human.
As always join in the conversation in a comment, or journal your thoughts. We are ready to evolve, join us on the journey of discovery
