The Narrow Road | May is all about Gratitude

Hey guys,

The May issue of "The Narrow Road" is ready to go to print! I'm so excited to share it with you. We'll be focusing on the virtue of Gratitude and learning how to show gratitude to God, our wives, our children and our neighbors throughout the month.

If you're new to "The Narrow Road" or need a refresher, here it is:

I think that most guys today have a desire to do good and to be good. The problem is that we lack a system or set of directions to help us form habits that will shore up that desire. To help, I created “The Narrow Road.”

In a nutshell, it's the everyday guide for the everyday guy.

This guide helps you practice a single virtue for 30 days (in May we'll focus on Gratitude) and discover how that virtue can positively impact the important relationships of your life. Throughout each month, we’ll focus on ways the virtue can strengthen your relationship with God, your spouse, your children, and your neighbor.

Each week features a reflection, prayers, daily Gospel readings, and prompts to help you organize your thoughts and stay on track.

I've even included something I call the “Opportunity for Grace” chart. The chart lists simple but powerful practices you can add to your life such as morning prayer, Mass, time with your family, nightly prayer, and more. The chart shines a light on the progress you are making each week in your spiritual life.

Each monthly booklet will be printed and mailed to all Patrons at the $20/month level and above. But that's not all.

In addition to the print booklet, I record and share weekly videos to further help you focus on how to live out the monthly virtue in your daily life and within the relationships you have with God, your spouse, your children and your neighbors.

Also, all of us on "The Narrow Road" gather each month for a ZOOM hangout, where we talk about the virtue, about our wins and challenges we've faced throughout the month. It's a great community-building experience.

As I look back on the years of Just a Guy in the Pew, it has become clear that God’s goal for the ministry is to help everyday men become virtuous. The people and relationships God puts in front of us each day help us grow in virtue and holiness.

If your mission is to grow into the man that God wants you to be, "The Narrow Road" will help you head in the right direction.
