By request (and now Patreon has enabled this) it is now possible to choose to support via Patreon annually. Whilst I can appreciate that monthly is better for many, with a single annual model there are less transaction fees involved, hence ultimately I can offer a discount which equates to two months free! (That’s actually the MAXIMUM discount Patreon will allow me to offer…so that’s what I’ve done)

If you’re already a monthly supporter and you’d like to switch to annual, you can opt to change as follows (extract from Patreon’s help guide follows):

1. Log in, hover over your profile icon in the top right corner, and select Manage Memberships
2. From your Active Memberships page click Edit next to the pledge you want to change
3. You’ll see a familiar checkout page where you can select Annual
4. Click Update. Note: you’ll be charged upfront for the discounted price

New patrons, visit the Patreon page and you’ll see the option below the “Join” button of your selected support tier.

In the end I’m grateful for any and all support irrespective of whether it’s monthly or annually - it’s about giving as many options as possible for Patrons to pick that which works best for their circumstances. It’s great that Patreon have finally made this option available for all of its users. (Thank you Patreon!)
