Hi, we have updated the file in MMF adding the goblins, backpacks, weapons, hobgoblins and the maps. We really hope you enjoy them. And here, the story with a great end. Only will take you a few minutes 👍
Once upon a time there was a quiet spring morning with little birds singing in the trees and bunnies scampering in the grass. The trusty Barth adjusted the cart tie-downs where he would deliver the last order on his list, a large boiler for the town mayor's house. He would go in person to deliver that order, he is a childhood friend of the mayor and every time he goes he would tell him the latest gossip in town. He didn't mess with anyone and so no one messed with his, but it is fun listening to his friend tell the stories, especially the spicy parts. Some sociability did him good from time to time, surely only half part of the stories are true.
He built his workshop on the side of the road to the Kingdom of Terra, it is the busiest in the sector and there are always new customers. Over time he became famous among recurring travelers, especially for his skilled work and his quick delivery. It took him a lot of time and hard work to position his name high. He owed it all to his workshop, is his home. The town was relatively close to him, so would be back before dark unless his friend invited him to dinner, which was very likely.
He took one last look inside his workshop and went over in his mind everything he had to prepare: cart ready, order ready, horse ready, clean clothes ready, key to the padlock ready. The only thing missing was to take a last drink of fresh water before leaving, he was not going to risk getting wet trying to drink water from his canteen on the cart
He walked inside and reached his hand towards the glass of water, but he noticed something strange. Concentric waves appeared and rhythmically collided on the surface of the water. He paid attention and heard outside behind him thumps on the ground, as if large rocks fell one after another, branches broke and loud whistles of steam clouded his calm mind. He didn't want to turn to look at the front door. The thumps were coming closer and now was joined by laughter and shouts of celebration. A long shadow with pointed ears appeared from the doorway.
-Tiz gorkshop iz mine !!! -he heard and turned finding a bearded goblin. His eyes says dangerous things.
-Gold!!! -cried now the goblin and threw him a bag full of coins. The goblin shrugged and stepped away from the entrance, inviting him out of his former workshop saying with a wide smile "plizzz". Those were the copperiest gold coins he had ever seen in his life.
Outside he met the gang, three big metal things like he had never seen were standing outside, it were as tall as trees and noisy as dragons. The drivers were making a fire to cook some rabbits and eggs that they had in hands. A couple more goblins had already removed the letters from his sign and were nailing chunks of metal into another name.
The leader took the padlock key from his hand, dirtying his clothes with grease.
At that moment his only choice was to go to his cart in silence and advance without looking back.
The cart began to move away leaving laughter and cheers behind him.
The road became long and it was the most silent journey of all, in his mind he was reviewing all the friendships that he made in his work as a blacksmith and inventor in the royal road. He knew every inch of the facilities that he himself built and knew his land in detail. That night his friend would have to listen to a story and very soon some goblins will have to know the anger of a gentle man.
