Another week has begun, with hopes and dreams once more. With every Monday our so called “work week” begins and everyone is hoping for a quiet day as most people have a difficult day on Monday. Yes I repeated this word twice because Monday can be seen by certain individuals as the worst day of the week. I say certain people because not all humans on this planet have an issue with this day of the week. But I guess every day is pot luck if you do not know how to manage your thoughts and feelings.
How do you start your day? What is the first thought you have? What is the second thought? And how much today is similar to yesterday and the day before?
I am currently on holiday spending time with family and in this particular part of the world a family member listens to the news every hour on the hour. How much can something change at a time when only two topics seem to cycle through, and right on cue, guess what is on the radio, the same news that was on at the start of the day. Oh; and of course this member of my family also watched the news at 7 and at 7:30 and basically just stopped watching the news not even 5 minutes ago. How much propaganda do you think this person listens to?How much positivity do you think this person absorbs every day? How much of their life revolves around the same thoughts, same ideas, same everything? Do you think that there is a possibility that they can have a good Monday?
“A game of chance” is the title for the post today, and of course the chances are based on the 52 deck in the image; so any permutation can only encompass 52 possibilities. Do you have things laid out at the start of your day? Do you live in the present knowing that the next moment may be totally random? Do you consider how what you read, listen to or watch affects you thoughts and feelings? Do you ever consider how much your own inner world is affected by that which you consume? As human beings we do not only consume food, we consume data at an amazing rate; and if you are interested I am sure you can do your own research of how much data we absorb on a daily basis. So when things pop up in your reality, is it chance, or is it something that you have “consumed” at some point in your day, life, or genetic memory? Remember a few days ago we spoke of how we are a product of multiple generations going back to the primordial cell. How much of your own through processes are your own and how much is it as a result of what you have “consumed”? Is the emotion you feel right now your own, or was it influenced by anything else around you?
Is anything by chance?
