A few years back with a group of clients, we went to a climbing centre, and we had to support each other with the ropes, so of course we needed to learn how to tie the B-Line correctly. If the line was not done right, you were asking for trouble if you were the one climbing.
Having the right ties is always important whether you are a climber or if we are talking about human-to-human connection.
When you contemplated your friend map you have made earlier in the year (if you have been following my posts) I wonder what kind of ties they were, were these people related to you, were they close friends; were they acquaintances, were they distant friends?
When we make a connection with another human being, we inevitably create a bond or a tie between yourself and the other, so managing those ties the right way is important.
With the people who are your closest, are you seeing them every day? Do you spend quality time with them doing activities? Do you spend time just chatting? Do you spend time sharing experiences? Do you spend time laughing together?
What are the right ties for you with other humans?
