At the time of writing there are still 0 patrons here on Patreon. I wonder who will be the first... Its strange having to kick-start something from scratch.

I am trying to grow the following organically, without too much promotion and marketing at the moment.

It's a bit of a catch 22. I think that to build a following, I need to create more content (ie music) but I need the money to create the music to attract the fans.

Why, you may ask, do I need money to create music?

There are costs associated with recording music.

If I was to record everything live, the audio quality would not be up to standard that it needs to be.

At the moment, I am funding the project myself, but I don't want to overspend, so am sticking to a budget.

I'm not telling you this because I want you to support, I just thought I'd let you know why there may be long periods between track uploads.

Of course it would be easier and cheaper to just record a lot of acoustic tracks rather than going for an X piece band, but I don't want it to come across as Suburban Mass is an acoustic act.

I think though, I may release the next track, then do two acoustics, a full band, two acoustics and so on.

Churning out content in the first few months, and then slowly fall back into a regular routine.
