This elephant-like beast is the size of a person and sports an armored trunk.
Elefgainths are mutant descendants of Indian elephants. They have managed to prosper by taking care of their own. Their smaller size is an advantage in a wasteland where big creatures are often targets, and they are known to take over abandoned dwellings as they roam from place to place. Elefgainths, like the elephants before them, are valued for their tusks and sometimes used as mounts (Handle Animal 15) by smaller humanoid races.

If the elefgainth moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the elefgainth can make one stomp attack against it as a bonus action.
- Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (3d4 + 2) piercing damage.
- Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one prone creature. Hit: 12 (3d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage.
