This stark white penguin exudes a slippery oil.
Fenkuin are mutant penguins adapted to other climates. Their thick, rubbery flesh leaks a slippery form of oil that makes them glisten grotesquely in sunlight. They have barely visible eyes buried in the folds of their flesh, but can see well enough.
The oil that fenkuins secrete makes them unpalatable to most predatory fish but a delicacy to some humanoid species. They are also prized for waterproofing, with enough from a single bird to coat clothing for a medium humanoid, four to coat a canoe, and twelve to waterproof a tent.
