Dear listeners,
I am writing to let you know the sad news that I have decided to stop running Suite (212) as a regular programme, and to ask you to cancel your Patreon subscriptions. I am immensely proud of the episodes that Lara Alonso Corona, Tom Overton and I made during our four-year run, but a mixture of teaching and writing commitments, a sense that I have said most of what I want to say in the format, and difficulties in funding the project and the amount of research and organising that go into every edition mean it makes sense to bring it to a close. I would like to thank you for supporting Suite (212) and remind you that our archive will remain available here.
I will also bring you one final episode with regular guests Fatema Ahmed and Owen Hatherley, talking about the relationship between politics, culture and the arts in the UK in the 2020s. Technical hitches have prevented me from bringing that to you so far, but it will be online in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, please do enjoy revisiting our back catalogue, and thanks again to Tom and Lara, everyone who came on the show, the sound engineers and other volunteers at Resonance 104.4fm, and you for listening and subscribing.
Yours,
Juliet Jacques
