Our theme for this month is #TakeWhatYouNeed, and we'll be reviewing past Daily Bites reflections at a fairly rapid pace (four reflections a day). [New patrons, check out the WIP hashtag; I hope to be using that more for things like this post this month.]
The point of this is: do not try to do everything that gets thrown your way. Figure out what you need, what will be helpful for you, and use that. If that is one Daily Bites reflection? fantastic! All of the reflections for the day? also fantastic! One of your own? also fantastic (and please share it with us on Twitter #chysyl)! None of the above? you guessed it, also fantastic.
(I'm cringing a bit at using the word "fantastic" so much, and to all my professors and English teachers, I apologize.)
That actually brings me to my next point, which is that I would like to dedicate this month's reflections to teachers. You all do so much work behind the scenes to make a difference in the world, and you do, every day. As you know, you may not ever see the result of your work, but you are making a difference. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to support your work.
Talk to you (through the podcast) soon!
