Almost March!

We're still taking things slow with the online stuff, as I get five minutes I update and set up accounts etc. We still only have one camera and one phone so it is a little difficult to get footage and photo's, I think one of the first things we'll buy, when we get the new budget, will be a dedicated digital video camera.

I am currently still on a Uni work placement, it's not great for me financially as the travel costs come out of my pocket and it can cost up to £95 per week which is draining our cash reserves. I have had to cancel 2 Euro trips this year already and it looks like Canada is another couple of years away as well, sorry Dad. :(

So, recently we've been revisiting our favourite places, as we have memberships for a lot of places it makes sense to visit them for free while I'm on placement, my daughter's rock collection is coming along nicely, and she's getting better at recognising the different types of rock. We also recently built a Beam Engine to go along with the Sterling Engine we made last year, and I'll be showing her how to make a motor so we can automate it later on in the season. We will upload a video when the project is finished and I have time to edit it. This type of engine is the one we will look to using for this year's gardening project.

Hope you're all ready for Spring, hopefully we'll be a little more active keeping this updated, but please feel free to share your projects with us and get in touch!

Cheers,
