This coming Sunday, July 24, I'm pleased to share that we will be (finally and officially) starting the meditation sessions. We'll be sitting at 7:30 PM EST.
I'm looking forward to giving Huzza a trial run to see if it meets our needs. If not, we'll move along and find something that does. I'm always open to suggestions.
My hopes for these sessions are that you'll find them as a good check-in on your regular meditation. Each week will be a little different and hopefully you'll find a little something that benefits your practice. Sitting in community (even a virtual one) can make a lot of difference. All that energy going in the same direction is powerful.
I've been thinking a lot lately about what the world would look like with a little more meditation, a little more mindfulness. The thought is pretty exciting to me. This practice that we do is bigger than ourselves and its impact can be felt much further, in those tiny ripple effects. I think it can be important to remember that when the world so often makes us feel helpless or uncertain. You can make a positive impact with the smallest of actions, even one that tends to be mostly private like meditation.
My intention with meditation sessions is to not only help guide you in the practice, but also help it have such a positive impact on your life that the world around you can't help but change.
