If you've been following this for a while, you've probably noticed that I tend to write articles, and particularly web log posts, in spurts.  I mentioned yesterday that I was not particularly happy with one I was composing, but today I have published it as #227:  Toward Better Subtitles, and have begun another on the application of rules of grammar in writing which will probably be completed and published over the weekend sometime.

I've also been promised another chapter or so of the Beam story for Garden of Versers, and am eagerly anticipating receiving, reading, and editing those--but today is trash day, and tonight my wife will need me to drive her to work once again, so I have real-world stuff on my plate at the moment.

If I finish that piece on rules of grammar, I'll split an infinitive, dangle a participle this direction, and deliver a sentence ending in a preposition, or barring that will write something reasonably coherent here to let you know.
