Bazaar Fiddle Tunes

Hey all!  Two weeks ago, we played a show at Bazaar Cafe and had a grand ol' time! When I say we, I mean the "Salmon Friends."  Allow me to explain a tad(pole).  Ok, ok, fishy puns will cease now, I've put too many in a roe...

Context: our new roommate's name is Sam.  He is a brilliant guitarist and songwriter, and hosts collaborative singer/songwriter shows called Salmon Friends (get it now?).  Two weeks ago, I got to be one of the Salmon Friends. Never before have I felt so honored to be compared to a fish. It was a lot of fun. For those of you who haven't been to Bazaar Cafe in San Francisco, I recommend that you add it to your itinerary next time you're in town.  Bazaar is in the Inner Sunset District, and feels like a little stronghold of authenticity and quirky charm amid a drastically changed city. The owner, Les, is an older gentleman with a wry grin and a very sweet nature. Above the stage area hangs a series of signs which read, "Want my Dough, If you Play Covers, Out You Go." Just our style.  (Traditional Tunes were allowed thank the powers that be!) Anyway, there's not much more for me to say. Here's a snippet from that show. I'll be posting it live to YouTube in a few days, so enjoy the early exclusive access. ;-)
