Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I am 42 I live in Grand Rapids, MI I work as the COO for Element Four (Formerly NVINT Services) A Managed IT Service Company. I have over 23 years in the IT field. I hold certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, HP, Sun Microsystems, and Comptia. I enjoy the outdoors and am a certified PADI rescue diver. I bowl on a regular bowling league and write fiction for a hobby.
What do you enjoy most about PowerUp Health?
I would say the group of members and how they openly share their stories, recipes, and progress. This helps to motivate other members, and give us a place for resources and support.
What are your current health goals?
Get back to Military weight (around 165 with less than 3% body fat), and build and tone muscle development.
Do you live by any special diet?
The MACRO program which counts carbohydrates, protein, and fat intake.
What do you eat for breakfast most often?
High protein items, eggs, turkey bacon/sausage, whole wheat/grain waffles, natural peanut butter, low fat yogurt, etc.
What is your go-to snack?
Protein shakes to be honest followed by low calorie popcorn (usually about 150 calories per 3.5 cups).
Do you exercise regularly?
3 times a week for 15 minutes on my Bowflex and 3 times a week 30-45 minutes lifting weights at the gym.
What are your hobbies?
PC Gaming, SCUBA diving, bowling.
What is your favorite video game?
Wow, this is tough there are so many but I have to say the "MASS Effect trilogy".
What is your most memorable moment as a gamer?
CSGO as a MGE ranked player in competitive match solo team win by taking out all 5 opposing team members.
What type of music do you like?
Kind of all over the place but I listen to 80s, 90s, and some top 40.
