Second off, in case you haven't heard, all Patreon donors (that's right, even those just donating $1!) will receive access to the first issue, one week in advance of the general public. Can't wait to see the new page? Have I got good news for you... Patreon donors will continue to receive new pages a week early for the foreseeable future. And as if that wasn't good enough, we've set up 5 different tiers of donations (see right), each of which unlock a new special reward for you, the viewers!
Last, I would just take a moment to express how important this project is to me. I've been working on it for close to 2 years now. But more importantly than the work put in is that creating and publishing my own comic book has been a dream of mine since I was a kid, stapling printer paper together and drawing characters in crayon on the pages inside. Tomorrow, that dream becomes a reality. I hope you all enjoy what's come of it. Aside from all of you who have donated your time, money, and support along the way, I'd like to take the time to recognize some very important members of the Blood Fury Team...
Daniel Abts, who saw the potential for this project from day one, encouraged me to pursue bigger things, and has supplied countless notes as my Producer and Editor along the way.
Nick Brightwell, who is always thinking of the larger picture and how to keep us honest. Thank you for biting off more than you could chew and simply learning to chew faster.
Chey Hayes, who came on as a script doctor and quickly became an invaluable member of the team. You are every part my co-writer in this, and Blood Fury wouldn't be half as good today if it weren't for your ideas and humor.
Jacob Potterfield, who put in countless hours designing the backgrounds and world for the animated pilot, and never once asking when you'd get paid. You gave the world of Blood Fury a unique look grounded in reality, and to this day your backgrounds receive the most compliments of any part of the series, with good reason.
April Ponce, who is far more talented than she gives herself credit for, who took my simple, frustrated drawings and turned them into living, breathing creature art, and who helped create the look for one of the most lovable characters in the series, Idiot.
Janice Robinson, who picked up all of our slack, gave so much, and asked for so little. You will always be Libby to me. Hopefully one day you will be her for the world, as well.
Thank you all so much for everything. Remember to follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on news and livestreams.
Stay Furious My Friends,
