The Boeing lunar landing tug as it appeared in early concept art, examples, and the source of my modeling, can be seen in diagrams in Winchell Chung’s Boeing Space Tug Modules and Kits
section on Atomic Rockets.
Even though the tug developed differently from this scheme, I couldn’t resist the retro-chic of the design. I added some structure to the landing legs which are rather sparely drawn in the diagrams.
