So Seth Chapman (OTDE) was working on a track, and I offered to do some animation to finish the track off and stuff. Little did I know I was getting myself into a project that would take nearly 50 hours of work over an entire month.

I did all the scenery from 1:06 to 1:29 - about 75,000 lines, all drawn with the pencil tool. It was really fun making intentional pencil scribbles all over the track, and considerably less fun drawing the animated words (so mind-numbingly repetitive...) but I am pretty proud of the final product and I think it fits nicely into OTDE's aesthetic for the first 55 seconds of track.

For me, part of this was definitely blowing off some steam surrounding recent criticism from the Line Rider community that I believed to be shortsighted. Remarks that Daisies either didn't experiment enough, or didn't execute everything perfectly and was therefore "sloppy". That Broken was pretentious and/or boring. And of course, that I am "anti-quirk" and a "sellout"... In any case, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for indulging me a bit here. And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna get back to work on Project Destruction ;)

Long live Line Rider!
