The next Tale of Oshala the Hex
passed the 7,500 word mark today, banishing it from the realm of the short story and launching it to the reaches of the novelette. It still has a ways to go, but I suspect I'm a bit over halfway done. It's unlikely to reach the 17,500 word marker for novella, but I'm not done yet.
I think that the slower pace for Wayfarings of Sabit is doing good things for its quality, I think. The last few stories have been short on phantasmagoria, and I hope to make up for that lacking in this one.
