Entertainment Weekly made the video auto-playing (I hate that) so we're going to Screen Crush's posting, which features more article and a "did you know" video on The Lion King. The important video shows Jeremy Irons, Whoopi Goldberg, Jim Cummings, Cheech Marin, and James Earl Jones voicing dialog and a bit of Irons and Goldberg from the villain song "Be Prepared". I just wish they had more than a few seconds of each person.
I also heard they're making a live-action version of The Lion King as part of Disney's current need to turn all their classic animated movies into live-action ones because apparently they've been corrupted by the Live-Action Status Symbol. And yet they can't even remade their old live-action movies properly. It just raises a lot of questions about Disney's current mindset. They do realize that it not only all started with a mouse, but a cartoon one, right?
